I have used this product for a few years, I am working with white shirts and it is very easy to get spots eve small during 13 hours on post. I got rid in minutes of every spot I ever did and I have helped to handle friends, including large spots of ink when a pen broke in the shirt pocket.

Baseball Glove Restoration - Ink Removal

While researching the composition of permanent marker and ways to remove the ink from leather gloves I came across this product. I have used many different cleaners in combination to try to remove ink from the leather gloves in the recent past without 100% success and with many hours, days of repetitive applications. So far the Amodex product has worked to remove the ink from an older leather glove and from the glove logo label. The time spent is considerably less than I have experienced in the past. I have used the Amodex with hot water and a toothbrush gently scrubbing the area and then wiping it down before another application. Thumbs up for this product.

Best product I've found yet for ink stains

While it has proven to be very difficult to eradicate the stain for which I bought this product as it requires repeated treatments - at least it actually does remove the ink whereas I have found no other product that does. I am still working on my stain (in seat upholstery of car) and am optimistic that with a couple more sessions I will get this darn stain out!

Removed Gel Pen on Leather!!

I have a brand new car with very light LEATHER interior. Before I could even make the second payment on it, I had the car valet parked. I only had it parked and then retrieved the day we left. As I got down the road a bit, I noticed a blue mark on the console. I could only imagine it was ink from the valet boys arm. I Googled it and tried everything suggested and nothing helped. Then I took my car to a local detail shop and the owner tried his hand at it, and again, nothing! He suggested that I call the hotel to ask what type of pen they used. The head of the valet gave me the type pens and told me they only used gel pens. I then got on the internet and Googled those pen companies and they gave me 3 cleaners to try. Only one said it was safe for leather....AMODEX!!! I ordered it and of course it said NOT to try all of the things that I had already done, but said if I had not to give up to try them anyway. SO, I did, and thank goodness it took it all out the first try! I am so happy and thankful. Great product!!

Sharpie marker removal

It worked very well on a silk like product that hadn't been treated with anything and removed the ink completely without damaging the material. On a duvet cover, it did take most of it out but lightened the material a little bit even after rinsing it out. Overall, very satisfied with the product. Just a note to test on an area that isn't noticeable first.
